Hi! I am so glad you are visiting our web site today! I am Stacey Jamison, the music teacher at Vandenberg and Addams Elementary. This is my second year in these wonderful schools!

I have been teaching in the public school system in Michigan since 2004. I am originally from Williamsport, PA and I have my Bachelor of Music degree from Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY. My primary instrument is bassoon which I play in the Pontiac Oakland Symphony Orchestra, but I also play flute, saxophone and clarinet professionally in local theatre groups.

I have been married since the summer of 2005. My husband is a band director in Ferndale, where I work with their marching band.

I am also a competitive Irish step-dancer with the Ardán Academy of Irish Dance.

I have a younger brother who is a music sound technician. He lives and works in New Rochelle, Ny - a suberb outside of New York City. My parents still live in Pennsylvania.

I also like to take pictures of places I have visited. In the summer of 2009, I visited Ireland for the third time! You can see my pictures from that trip at www.staceyjamisonphotography.com.

I don't have any children YET, but I do have four awesome kitties! Their names are Bailey, Pepper, Kerry, and Donegal (he's the brat). I also foster for the Hope Rescue Society in Ferndale.  Click here to visit their web site and watch the videos from the kittens born in my house on April 21, 2009!
